Let’s be honest. Most of what passes for β€œwellness” today skips the actual human being. It’s all hacks and highlights, quick fixes and cold plunges, a culture trying desperately to feel better without ever slowing down enough to understand why it hurts in the first place.

But real change doesn’t come from tricks or trends. It comes from noticing what’s happening inside you, your body, your breath, your history, your culture, your story. The parts most systems ignore.

That means honoring the nervous system instead of overriding it, exploring movement as a form of memory, letting emotions have shape instead of turning them into content, and recognizing that healing doesn’t happen in the mind alone. It happens in the whole person.

I founded WDML as a therapist, researcher, okayish mover, and human who is still learning every day. My work brings together clinical counseling, somatic psychology, movement and mind body research, and a genuine curiosity about what helps people actually change without the performance, the guru energy, or pretending I am above being human.
